Kelvin was educated at Auckland University and graduated
as a Educational Physiologist. After 8 years in this
field while designing amateur and professional shows
after hours, Kelvin decided to take Stage Lighting on
as a permanent career.
Kelvin has worked with the New Zealand Ballet, Metropolitan
Opera, Auckland Opera, he has toured with local and
international shows as Lighting Designer and Stage Manager.
In 1986 Kelvin joined Selecon New Zealand Ltd and These
partnerships bring into the company more specialised
skills allowing us to offer a larger array of specialist
services. Our goal is to become a complete technology
solutions provider in Specialist Systems.
At this point Kelvin became involved with applying
theatrical lighting techniques to architectural applications.
Kelvin has been involved in the design of theatres,
shopping centres, hotels, restaurants, theme park attractions
and museums. The highlight of his design career so far
was being part of the Lighting Design Team for the 1990
Commonwealth Games.
In 1994 Kelvin joined the Inova Group as Regional Sales
Manager, and bought his skills as a lighting designer
to this company. He has been involved with over 30 hotel
and entertainment design project covering Lighting and
AV design.
In April 1996 Kelvin set up the Bangkok Regional Office
for the Inova Group.
In 2003 Inova became Techlogique Consulting Group.
Graduate of Marine Engineering, he has 25 years of
experience in the marine project management and electrical
contracting services in India. He has completed projects
ranging from 2 to 20 million US$.
Managing his own company Janus Engineering he has completed
several large scale projects in the IT data centre market,
and has specialized in Audio Visual design for projects
in Financial, IT and hospitality industries.
An architect by profession he has served over 10 years
with the Oberoi Hotel Group managing the design of
several of their hotels.
He for the last year has specialized in the conceptual
and lighting design of both interior and exterior
spaces.
